About this location:

The CHUM Collectif Consortium, of which Veolia is a 20 % member, has been awarded the public-private partnership (P3)  project for Centre Hospitalier de l'Université de Montréal (CHUM), initiated by Infrastructure Québec in 2007.
Currently under construction in downtown Montréal and slated for completion in 2020, the new University Hospital, the largest in North America, will feature 770 single-patient rooms, ambulatory and diagnostic care, surgery, intensive care, and clinical laboratories serving 345,000 ambulatory patients, 22,000 inpatients and 65,000 emergency patients each year.  The first major completion phase is slated for 2016, where 85 percent of the hospital will be fully operational and Veolia will begin providing its services.
As a shareholder and service provider, Veolia will provide maintenance, life-cycle and energy performance management, and security services under a long-term contract for this massive hospital project.
