We are taking this opportunity to highlight Veolia's Erika Kovacs who was recently announced as General Manager for our newly created Southeast Branch.
In this role, Erika is responsible for expanding our facility network and capabilities, and growing the Veolia ESS business. The Southeast Branch includes Georgia, Florida, Alabama and Mississippi.
Erika says, "Our branch is ready and excited to work with you on your materials management needs! We offer many services including electronics and solvent recycling, an audited third-party network, incineration and fuel blending."
A passion for a more sustainable planet has been interwoven throughout Erika's career beginning when she graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich., with a bachelor's degree in environmental policy and natural resources. She also holds a Master’s of Science in environmental health sciences from the University of Michigan.
And while new to the Southeast, Erika is not new to Veolia. Since 2004, Erika has held various roles of increasing responsibility including Technical Service Representative and Reclaim Process Development Chemist. In her most recent role, Erika led the Canada West team as General Manager.
