Veolia is Managing E-Cigarette Waste from Across the U.S.

Veolia North America's Bob Cappadona was interviewed by the Associated Press for a story about the challenges of managing waste from e-cigarettes, which are becoming increasingly popular. Cappadona, who is President and CEO of Veolia North America's Environmental Solutions and Services division, told the AP that disposible, battery-charged e-cigarettes contain chemicals such as nicotine and lithium which are considered hazardous waste and are not legally allowed for disposal in regular trash streams.
