News feed shares latest news on water, from experts who understand the issues.

Given the complexity of water, with urban, industrial and agricultural sectors competing for increasingly limited supplies, keeping up-to-date can be difficult. A twice-daily Twitter feed now offers the latest insightful news and stories on the world of water.

Veolia North America, in partnership with a variety of nonprofits and academics, launched the Growing Blue Twitter feed.

It's a news source written by people who understand water and the very real challenges that water managers and decision makers deal with every day.

The Growing Blue team updates this news feed twice daily and carefully selects the most important news on water happening across the globe. This includes video content, news and analysis. Ultimately, it's presented by people who understand the challenges that come with delivering clean water and treating wastewater for cities and industry.

The GrowingBlue Twitter feed is offered by GrowingBlue, a variety of groups and organizations actively involved in water, including The Nature Conservancy, the Clean Water America Alliance, the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, the United Nations Global Compact CEO Water Mandate, the Earth Institute at Columbia University, Global Water Intelligence, Cardno ENTRIX and Veolia Water.

Poorly managed water threatens us all. Growing Blue members believe that sustainable water management and best practices are required - and the biggest step in this process is making sure that information is shared.

"What Growing Blue does is put the economic importance of water center stage," says Christopher Gasson, publisher of Global Water Intelligence. "By doing so, it makes the case for the kind of smart investment in infrastructure that is going to both protect the environment and support local economic improvements in the long term."
