Veolia CEO speaks out against plastic pollution

“It is high time to implement the circular economy principles in the plastic sector,” said Antoine Frerot, Veolia’s global CEO, in response to a new report from McKinsey and the Ellen MacArthur Foundation. The report suspects that plastics will outweigh fish in the ocean by 2050, partly because plastic use is expected to double in the next two decades.
