Public-Private Partnerships can benefit colleges and universities

Brian Mitchell, director for the Edvance Foundation, touted the benefits of public-private partnerships for colleges and universities in an op-ed published by the Huffington Post.

As many universities cannot continue to rely on existing debt capacity or budget surpluses, he recommends seeking outside helps. By working with a private partner, universities can continue to build and maintain critical infrastructure while also freeing up funds for higher priorities.
