CONSISTENT QUALITY

Water is a precious resource. Veolia North America offers comprehensive water reuse and reclamation solutions to maximize your community’s resources while adhering to stringent reuse water quality standards.

Our advanced approaches and processes treat wastewater to a level that meets non-potable water needs, for uses such as irrigation and industrial processes. There are a variety of applications for reusable water including golf courses, irrigation, public fountains, and commercial and industrial applications.

Veolia’s water experts have developed best practices for services including design and construction of facilities and systems, upgrade/expansion of existing assets, and long-term operation and management of reuse programs.

We provide a consistent quality of reclaimed water that meets regulatory requirements, protects the environment, and ensures long life of facility and system assets. Our innovative processes address varying influent sources and adhere to stringent reuse water quality standards (such as California Title 22).

REUSE SYSTEMS

We are capable of operating a broad scope of storage and distribution systems for municipal, commercial and industrial applications that include oversight of transmission lines, pump stations, irrigation systems, and spraying trucks.

TECHNOLOGIES, OPERATIONS, AND MAINTENANCE

Veolia’s water professionals regularly install and develop innovative processes such as microfiltration, reverse osmosis, UV disinfection, membrane treatment, and membrane bioreactors to meet reuse and zero-discharge needs.

FEATURED PROJECT

Honolulu
Veolia designed, built, financed and currently operates a 13-MGD water reclamation facility in Honolulu. The project has saved millions of dollars and preserved millions of gallons of drinking water, while keeping with old Hawaiian principles of kapu, a system of laws governing water resources and land.

ADDITIONAL PROJECTS

Palmetto, Florida
Due to rapid growth and rising water prices, many Florida communities we serve reuse water. To keep expenses down and promote reuse, we operate a facility that can function at a 100 percent reuse rate, saving more than 30 million gallons per month for non-potable use such as golf courses, parks, nurseries and home lawns.

Atwater, California
Atwater's 6-MGD wastewater treatment plant has resulted in energy savings to Northern California. Treated effluent is 100 percent beneficially reused, preserving precious drinking water. Effluent is provided to one of the nation's most prominent dairy/cheese farms for fodder crop irrigation and to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Arena Plains wetland unit.
