Veolia designed, built, financed and currently operates a 13-MGD water reclamation facility in Honolulu. The project has saved millions of dollars and preserved millions of gallons of drinking water, while keeping with old Hawaiian principles of kapu, a system of laws governing water resources and land.

Due to rapid growth and rising water prices, many Florida communities we serve reuse water. To keep expenses down and promote reuse, we operate a facility that can function at a 100 percent reuse rate, saving more than 30 million gallons per month for non-potable use such as golf courses, parks, nurseries and home lawns.
Atwater's 6-MGD wastewater treatment plant has resulted in energy savings to Northern California. Treated effluent is 100 percent beneficially reused, preserving precious drinking water. Effluent is provided to one of the nation's most prominent dairy/cheese farms for fodder crop irrigation and to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Arena Plains wetland unit.
