A wastewater greenhouse

Wastewater treatment plants are typically identified by clarifiers and aeration tanks, but a plant in Sechelt, British Columbia is known for its new greenhouse.

The greenhouse is situated over treatment tanks, and uses the bacteria in plant roots to treat effluent. Sechelt is now seeking buyers to reuse the water for industrial purposes.
