Veolia Webinar Shares Strategies for Helping Reduce Total Cost of Ownership

In partnership with The Dow Chemical Company, Veolia North America hosted a live webinar with BIC Magazine on Thursday, April 30, 2015, titled, “Best Practices for Reducing Total Cost of Ownership.” The two companies shared their mutual success in managing industrial cleaning services to drive down an operator’s total cost of ownership (TCO).

Glen Kelley is responsible for Veolia’s partnerships with The Dow Chemical Company and BASF in the United States. He is also Veolia’s subject matter expert on Hands Free™ industrial cleaning, with a particular focus on automated hydroblasting. Mr. Kelley has been with Veolia since 1996 and brings a career of experience in operations management, business development and safety. 
 
Tyler Bargas oversees the maintenance contracts and is the subject matter expert for process cleaning activities at The Dow Chemical Company’s Plaquemine, Louisiana, site. Mr. Bargas is a member of several global teams within Dow, which are responsible for improving the company’s global hydroblasting standard and assisting its sites in the achievement of 100% automation.  He is also a member of the Greater Baton Rouge Industry Alliance’s (GBRIA) hydroblasting committee, working towards workforce improvement and development through training and NCCER certification.  A technical advisor in chemical, high pressure and vacuum technologies, Mr. Bargas has been with Dow since 2010.
