‘Project Safe Send’ keeps pesticides out of the environment
North Dakota is now 192 tons of pesticides lighter, thanks to Project Safe Send.
The public program is funded by pesticide manufacturers and works with Veolia North America to safely get rid of unusable, unneeded or unwanted pesticides. Veolia collected, repackaged and transported the chemicals to incinerators, ensuring they do not end up harming the environment.
